There is a place on the mountain’s edge where the line between you and the moonlight disappears, where what you are giving off and what is coming toward you become the same. This is Stage Three of Alchemy, the stage of Divine Influence, governed by the Earth Element. For most of our lives, our inner light is being diverted to old wounds, inherited fears that were never ours to carry, on ancestral and past life burdens we didn’t choose and can’t fully explain. Stage Three is the slow release of that borrowed weight, not through understanding it, but through letting it go. What’s left, once the releasing is done, is light with nowhere left to hide. People feel it before they can name it. Jaye painted the moment that light stops being something you have and becomes something you are.
