The Still Point

Description

Mixed Media and Acrylic, 36″ x 48″

In the middle of a vast field of gold, almost too small to find at first, there is a spiral, the still point everything else moves around. This is the center of the universe, not as a location but as a quality, the place where vibration replaces judgment, where there is no good or bad, no right or wrong, only frequency, only motion, only the limitless field that gold has always represented in Alchemy. The paint itself shifts color depending on where you stand, never fixed, never one thing, the same way truth at this level was never meant to be pinned down to a single answer. The vastness around the spiral isn’t empty. It’s spacious, the kind of room that only opens up once judgment stops narrowing everything into categories. Jaye made the still point small on purpose, easy to miss, exactly the way real centers usually are.

The Contemplation: Sit with the piece and let your eyes find the spiral. Notice how much space surrounds something so small, and ask what might open in you if you stopped needing things to be right or wrong.
